Babolat Technology

Babolat Aero Pro Drive with Cortex..........$185

The racquet used by Rafael Nadal. This racquet combines the aero modular designed throat with the head technology of the Pure Drive line. The Aero Pro Drive packs a punch from the baseline, this racquet definately has the power to put away a shot. The open string pattern allows for easy access to spin. A great blend of control and power. Its 11.3oz strung weight gives you plenty of mass making this racquet very stable even during heavy hitting, yet light enough to be quickly weilded at the net. Great for intermediate to advanced players.

Specs:

Head Size: 100sq.in                                   Swingweight: 324

Length: 27in                                               Stiffness:67

Strung Weight: 11.3oz                                String Pattern: 16x19

Balance: 5pts head light

Babolat Aero Storm Tour with Cortex ..........$185

The Aero Storm 2007 has been re-released as the Aero Storm Tour. This racquet combines Babolat's aero modular technology in the throat and the Pure Storm technology in the head. The result is fantastic! This is a control orientated racquet and it does not dissapoint. The Aero design helps players generate fast swing speeds while still reaping the benefits of the extra heft. From the baseline this racquet is rock solid and stable during heavy hitting. The open string pattern helps to generate plenty of spin. The light headweight allows this racquet to be maneuverable at net, yet still maintain a solid feel on volleys. The main word to sum this racquet up is solid--solid groundstrokes, solid volleys, solid serves. A great racquet for the advanced player.

Specs:

Headsize: 98sq.in                                  Swingweight: 340

Length: 27in                                           Stiffness: 66

Strung Weight: 12.1oz                            String Pattern: 16x20

Balance: 6pts head light

Babolat Aero Storm 2008 with Cortex..........$185

This racquet maintains many of the same characteristics of the Aero Storm Tour. It is a bit lighter but still very solid and comfortable from the baseline. The open string pattern provides great access to spin. The lighter weight makes it more manueverable at the net than the previous version (Aero Storm 2007). This is a great choice for players who generate their own power and are looking for a control racquet without the typical helft associated with such racquets.

Specs:

Head Size 98 sq.in                                   Swingweight: 325

Length: 27in                                             Stiffness: 65

Strung Weight: 11.4oz                              String Pattern: 16x20

Balance: 4pts head light

Babolat Aero Strike with Cortex..........$179

This racquet is built on the success of the popular Aero Pro Drive. The Aero Strike is lighter and more powerful than the Aero Pro Drive. This racquet is also very forgiving on off-center hits, making for a nice comfortable feel. Like other racquets in the Aero line this racquet is very spin friendly with an open string pattern. Though light, it is stiff enough to still feel stable hitting heavy shots from the baseline. At net, this racquet is great. It is very maneuverable and has plenty of power and control to put volleys away. It is an excellent choice for beginner to intermediate players.

Specs:

Headsize: 100sq.in                                  Swingweight: 314

Length: 27in                                             Stiffness: 61

Strung Weight: 10.2oz                              String Pattern: 16x20

Balance: 2pts head light
